Filling in Some Gaps
Just a quick blog, while tending to simmering fevers, to show off any bit of good from this past crazy week. William, all on his own, pulled out his second baby tooth to be loose and the gaps are beginning to result in a lisp, quite cute. And Rosie, with a little help from some yucky nail polish, quit sucking her fingers cold turkey! It's a little surprising how quickly she stopped to be honest when it seemed that some days we never saw her without them in her mouth. No more chapped, sore fingers. I'm glad for her.
We're so close I feel to the end of this month of being sick. We go a day or two, healthy and then, like yesterday, we're out in the car and William falls asleep on the way home. Most of you know how incredibly odd this is, William never naps. We got home, he cuddled with me on the couch and slept more, which was really nice if he hadn't been close to burning up. I couldn't believe one of us was getting sick again.
But we did manage to have a bit of fun skating for the first time yesterday, and Scott and the kids are off making comics together right now. Pictures will be posted soon.
Sorry for some scattered thoughts. Just had a quick minute and wanted to get some down.
One more day of January. We can do it. And then let February begin and bring with it health, some warmth, and lots o' lovin'.
